Visual credits
The spacecraft, window, stars, and interstellar clouds are rendered in three
dimensions. Earth surface textures use the credited sources below.
-
Live starfield and nebula: original Blender stellar atlas and volume
envelopes created for Rocket Capital. The browser renders the exported
spatial data with interactive star lighting and three-dimensional gas.
-
Archived Milky Way panorama:
ESO/S. Brunier,
CC BY 4.0.
Retained in the project assets from the earlier photographic sky.
-
Earth day, cloud, terrain-normal and ocean-specular maps:
Solar System Scope, CC BY 4.0.
Based on NASA data. Normal and ocean maps are converted from the source
TIFFs; cloud maps are compressed and mobile variants are resized. Rendered
on Blender-built geometry with terrain relief, cloud shadows, atmospheric
scattering and simulated illumination.
-
RC-01 launch vehicle: original mesh geometry modelled for Rocket Capital
in Blender, with original 4K surface, normal, and roughness maps. The
editable Blender source and generation script are included with the
project.
-
Three.js 0.185.1, MIT license.
Draco geometry decoder,
Apache 2.0 license. Both are served locally with the project.
